      <p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Point Method</b> lets you define overstock starting at one point and ending at another. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You must define two points along the selected path. Use the <b class="uiTerm">Point Method</b> tool in the upper window to choose your method of point definition. Temporary splats are shown along the path at the defined positions. Using this tool allows you to associate the start and end points of the overstock with any other definable point in the model.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The first point you define is the start of the overstock and the second point is the end. You can continue to redefine the second point, but in order to redefine the start point you must go back to Step 2 (segments remain selected) then go back to Step 3. This initializes your start point definition.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Once the start and end points are established, you can drag the splats or use the slider to adjust them. To use the slider, click on the end splat to be adjusted so that it highlights, and then move the slider or enter a value in its entry box.</p>

      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Point and Length Overstock Method</b> establishes a single point and a length to define the range of the overstock.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">You must define one point along the path. Use the <b class="uiTerm">Point Method</b> tool in the upper window to choose your method of point definition. Using this tool allows you to associate the start, middle, or end point of the overstock with any other definable point in the model. You may continue to redefine the point (the last defined point is the one used).
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The lower window provides a menu to choose if the point defines the start, the end, or the middle of the overstock. The default is <b class="uiTerm">Start</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">When you define the point, the Length value updates to be less or equal to the distance from the point to the end of the path in the direction of the displayed cone head (or twice the smaller of the distances to the ends in the case of the point defining the middle). If the Length value is less than that distance already, it does not change. If it is greater, it is set equal to the distance.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the point defines the <b class="uiTerm">Start</b> or <b class="uiTerm">End</b>, you can change the direction of the overstock by choosing the <b class="uiTerm">Switch Start End</b> button. The length updates, if necessary, to assure it is less than or equal to the distance to the end of the path.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">A square splat is placed at the location of the defined point. A circular splat is placed at the location defined by the length. You can drag the rectangular splat to adjust the placement of the point. You can drag the circular splat to adjust the length.</p>
      <p class="para_division">With the rectangular splat highlighted, you can use the slider to adjust the position of the point, or enter a value into its entry box. With the circular splat highlighted, you can use the slider to adjust the length.</p>
      <p class="para_division">There are two circular splats shown if the <b class="uiTerm">Point Defines</b> is chosen to be <b class="uiTerm">Middle</b>. In this case the distance from the point to each circular splat is half the length, so the point remains in the middle of the overstock. You can drag either of these splats to adjust the length and the other splat follows accordingly.
