      <div class="title_division">Selected objects</div>
      <p class="para_division">If this option is selected, then choosing the button next to a characteristic will display the values from all the selected objects, (depending on whether the object possesses that characteristic or not).</p>
      <p class="para_division">The values are from all the stock and fittings present in the current work part.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The values are from the part specifications for the selected stock and fittings. <b class="uiTerm">Unify Path</b> identifies the part class corresponding to a particular object and displays a list of all possible values.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Inheriting characteristics</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can also inherit values by selecting a reference object, which can be either a stock or fitting. In this case, the characteristics displayed on the dialog box initialize to the value of the corresponding characteristic on the selected object. You can edit these values further, if necessary.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Unification process</div>
      <p class="para_division">After entering or choosing values for one or more characteristics, select <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>. For each selected object, unify path creates a part specification using the values defined for the selected unifying characteristics and the existing values for other characteristics on each object. <b class="uiTerm">Unify Path</b> then finds an object of the same class in the part library defined by the new part specification. The old objects replace with new ones. The system assigns a new set of descriptor characteristics to the new ones. The new object will assign any <b class="uiTerm">Required</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Optional Characteristics</b> that were on the original object.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Errors</div>
      <p class="para_division">Various errors can occur when trying to unify a path. Shown below are the error messages and a short explanation of each.</p>
