      <p class="para_topic">You can use the <b class="uiTerm">Write NX Model</b> command to export files of this type after viewing or processing them in ECAD or PCB.xchange.       </p>
      <p class="para_topic">To create an NX model:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Write</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Write NX Model</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select which type of information to create in NX, <b class="uiTerm">Board and Component</b> or  <b class="uiTerm">Board Only</b> 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Write Units</b> for the NX part(s). 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the  <b class="uiTerm">Name</b> of the Board Part (&quot;.prt&quot; file) and specify or select a directory/folder in which to place the Board Part. If applicable, specify or select a directory/folder in which to place the component parts. 
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division"> Options</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If<b class="uiTerm"> Board Only</b> is selected, the PC board is added to the specified directory. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Use Only use existing components (do not create new ones)</b> when you want PCB.xchange to recognize and write only those components for which a corresponding part already exists. No extruded parts are created. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you are working with component collections in directories (rather than TeamCenter), select the  <b class="uiTerm">Use components found in directories</b> option to specify a directory or directories containing components for use in populating the PCB assembly. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Entity Filter</b> removes entities (such as components, restriction areas and drilled holes) that match criteria defined in the pcbx_ug_filter.ini file. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Preview</b> displays the PCB Assembly based on the Entity Filter. During Preview, all entities to be written are shown, regardless of the entity display options you have set on the view menu. Press the  <em>Esc</em> key to return to the <b class="uiTerm">Write NX Model</b> dialog box.
