      </table><br><p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Qualify Part</b> allows the creation of ports that are positioned dynamically by the definition of a <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> when the component is placed in an assembly. The SOP that governs a port position can be edited through <b class="uiTerm">Qualify Part</b> as well.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Creation in Qualify Part</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Qualify Part</b> dialog box is the exclusive interface for the creation of routing ports. To support the possible inclusion of an SOP in a port definition, Selection Step 1 of this dialog box includes the SOP option of defining the port origin by a button named <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Step 1 of the <b class="uiTerm">Port Creation</b> dialog box requires the definition of the position point of the port being created. If the <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> button is chosen in this step, the <b class="uiTerm">SOP</b> dialog box is invoked to define the port's position point. Once the <b class="uiTerm">SOP</b> dialog box is dismissed, you are returned to the <b class="uiTerm">Port</b> dialog box. The <b class="uiTerm">Port</b> dialog box advances to its Step 2 provided the <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> was defined.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Editing in Qualify Part</div>
      <p class="para_division">Editing a port in <b class="uiTerm">Qualify Part</b> is essentially the same as creating one, using the same dialog box. When a port is being edited, the same <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> push button is available. If the existing port is not already dependent on an SOP, you can make it so by choosing <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> and completing the three steps of the <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> dialog box. If the port is already dependent on an SOP, then any of the steps of the <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> dialog box, accessed by choosing the <b class="uiTerm">Stock Offset Point</b> button, can be used to redefine the SOP.

                  <p class="para_note_body">If SOP dependency is newly added to a port, you also need to explicitly redefine paths referencing the modified port in the assembly. For example, editing a fixture port to add stock dependency in an existing assembly necessitates recreating any path segments referencing the fixture port. If the paths are not recreated, the stock diameter dependency does not manifest itself in the assembly.</p>
