      <div class="title_division">To import an ECAD model</div>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">PCB.xchange</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Import ECAD Model</b> 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a board file to import. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the location of the output part, and the location to store newly created components.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the name of the Board Part (&quot;.prt&quot; file) and specify or select a directory/folder in which to place the board part. If applicable, specify or select a directory/folder in which to place the component parts. The default location (&quot;.&quot;) is specified in pcbx_ug.ini. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Options</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you are working with component collections in directories (rather than TeamCenter), you can define the directory (or directories) in NX. Choose  <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Options</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Assembly Load Options</b> to open the Load Options dialog box. In the Load Options dialog box, select <b class="uiTerm">From Search Folders</b> and click the <b class="uiTerm">Add Folder to Search</b> button. Use the dialog box that opens to specify a directory or directories containing components for use in populating the PCB assembly.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select  <b class="uiTerm">Only use existing components (do not create new ones)</b> when you want PCB.xchange to recognize and write only those components for which a corresponding part already exists. No extruded parts are created. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Board Only</b> to import only the PC board, not the components.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Entity Filter</b> to remove entities (such as components, restriction areas and drilled holes) that match criteria defined in the <i class="fileName">pcbx_ug_filter.ini</i> file. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Import Conductors</b> to include conductive traces on the PC board in your NX model. Note that conductors are not supported in IDF versions 2 or 3.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Create Restricted Areas as Solid Body</b> if you would like to see keep-out areas visualized as 3&ndash;D geometry. Only those keep-out areas that support a value for height (<b class="uiTerm">Placement</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Other</b>) can be extruded as solid bodies.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Show Log</b> if you wish to view a list of import messages generated by PCB.xchange. This file is stored in the scratch directory defined on the File Settings dialog box.
