      </table><br><p class="para_topic">This topic provides a summary off all the files, default values, and environment variables that control Routing and its applications. The topics specific to each of these areas provide much more detail.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Environment variables</div>
      <p class="para_division">The following briefly defines the environment variables used exclusively by Routing (general NX variables and other module specific variables are not included).</p>
      <p class="para_division">Here the variables are organized into three categories; <b class="uiTerm">General Routing Variables</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Application Specific Variables</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Routing Electrical Only Variables</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">You define these variables by the default ugii_env file (ugii_env.dat on Windows, .ugii_env on UNIX). Typically, an installation uses one or more ugii_env files to establish the values of environment variables. However, you may use any method of defining the variables for the session.</p>
