      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Part Library Type</b>, within the application view, defines how the user locates and chooses standard parts and stock. The <b class="uiTerm">Part Library</b> options are:
      </p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Part Library View</b></p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Teamcenter Classification</b></p>

      <div class="title_division">File selection option</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">File Selection</b> option uses the assemblies <b class="uiTerm">Add Component</b> method for finding and adding any new component to an assembly. The first dialog box displayed is the <b class="uiTerm">Select Part</b> dialog box.

      <p class="para_division">If the part selected this way is a family member template part, the <b class="uiTerm">Select Family Member</b> dialog box is displayed, and the selected member is loaded.

      <div class="title_division">Part library view option</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option allows the routing application administrator to define a hierarchy of menus for finding classes of parts. By defining a part selection hierarchy in the Part Library View (.plv) file, you can select parts through the <b class="uiTerm">Specify Item</b> dialog box which reflects this hierarchy.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">To choose a part from the <b class="uiTerm">Part Family Member</b> dialog box choose the family attributes and values, which specify the desired part.
