      <p class="para_topic">You can save your PC board assembly as a Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file by using the  <b class="uiTerm">Write SVG file</b> command. The SVG viewer opens in your system's web browser, allowing you to view the PCB assembly and easily extract information about its components. Use the controls on the viewer to adjust the display to your needs.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The display shows the name of the file and the date and time of creation, with board and components in default colors.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">To view SVG files, you must install the SVG plug-in for your browser. See <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('pcb/xu_using_svg_viewer.html');return(false);">Using the SVG Viewer</a> for additional information.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">To export an SVG file:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Write</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Write SVG File</b>. PCB.xchange creates and saves and SVG file, and opens it in your web browser.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Move the cursor over the component of interest to see its reference designator, package name and part number. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>

      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm"> Zoom Level</b> icons control the magnification of the PCB assembly display. The current level of magnification is shown under the icons. 
            </p>
            <p class="para_item"><b>[+] (Zoom in)&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>gives a closer view of the PCB assiembly.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item"><b>[-] (Zoom out)&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>gives a broader view of the PCB assiembly.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item"><b>[100%] (Reset)&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>returns the view to the default magnification level.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">PCB Overview</b> shows the entire PCB assembly in reduced size, regardless of the current level of magnification. If the display is magnified, a transparent pink rectangle shows the segment of the assembly currently visible in the SVG viewer. Drag the pink rectangle to see a different portion of the PCB assembl.

            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">PCB entities</b> controls the display of different entites. With the check box selected, you can see the selected entity; with the check box deselected the entity is hidden.
