      </table><br><p class="para_topic">You can manually assign the direction of flow to any segments of a run that do not have flow direction assigned automatically. &nbsp;If the flow of a segment is assigned through the <b class="uiTerm">Flow Direction Algorithm</b>, the direction of flow cannot be changed manually. If you manually assign flow direction to a segment, you can override the <b class="uiTerm">Flow Algorithm</b> when the run is modified. If flow direction was originally assigned to a segment manually, then the flow can be changed (reversed or removed) at any time.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can manually assign the flow direction of a segment through the <b class="uiTerm">Assign Flow Direction</b> dialog box.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can access this dialog box through the <b class="uiTerm">Run Navigator</b>. If a single run is currently selected in the <b class="uiTerm">Run Navigator</b>, the following options are made available on the <b class="uiTerm">Run</b> shortcut menu.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Assign Flow Direction option</div>
      <p class="para_division">Choosing this option displays the <b class="uiTerm">Assign Flow Direction</b> dialog box shown above. All options are inactive until you select a <b class="uiTerm">Flow Handle</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Temporary flow indicators display on the segments of the selected run with flow assigned by the system appearing in <b class="uiTerm">Hidden Geometry</b> color for reference (typically gray).&nbsp;All segments of the selected run that do not have system defined flow direction assigned have flow handles shown in the handle color. The handles have the same size, appearance, and locations as the flow Indicators described in the previous section.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The handle colored indicators can then be selected. &nbsp;When a <b class="uiTerm">Flow Handle</b> is selected, three actions are available.

      </table><br><p class="para_division">You can chose these three actions in any of three ways:</p>

            <p class="para_item">Choose one of the three tool buttons on the dialog box:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Assign Flow</b> (if flow direction is not currently assigned).
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Reverse Flow</b> (if flow direction is currently assigned).
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Flow Direction</b> changes to unassigned (if currently assigned).
                  </p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choosing from a right&ndash;click menu, with the cursor over the <b class="uiTerm">Flow Handle</b>, which lists <b class="uiTerm">Assign Flow</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Reverse Flow</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Remove Flow</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Double clicking on the <b class="uiTerm">Flow Handle</b>. The results are:
            </p>
