      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The Routing <b class="uiTerm"> BOM</b> dialog box controls the manner in which routing objects are placed onto the parts list and its appearance. Each option is described below.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Level</div>
      <p class="para_division">There are two options that determine how fabrications are reported on the <b class="uiTerm">BOM</b>.
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Summary</b> option: The system will report only components and stock in the current work part. The <b class="uiTerm">Fabrication Numbering</b> option is available. Fabrications will be given their pre-assigned fabrication number as their item number in the parts list. The system assigns the fabrication number when entering text for the FAB_NUMBER characteristic creates the fabrication. &nbsp;If you turn <b class="uiTerm">Fabrication Numbering</b> off, then fabrications will number sequentially along with all other items in the parts list. When <b class="uiTerm">Itemized</b> is on, the system ignore fabrications. Their constituent components are reported like all other routing components. The <b class="uiTerm">Summary</b> option applies to Routing fabrications only, not assembly components in general.

         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Itemized</b> option: The existence of each routing object is reported individually, regardless of its position in the assembly hierarchy.

      </ul>

                  <p class="para_note_body">If the <b class="uiTerm">Itemized</b> option is on and the Routing <b class="uiTerm">BOM</b> is not displaying components in fabrications as expected, ensure that the component attributes are synchronized in the assembly with the subassembly. Use the <b class="uiTerm">Assembly Navigator</b> to perform this synchronization by selecting the fabrication component in the navigator, then using the right&ndash;click menu to choose <b class="uiTerm">Properties</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Assembly Tab</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Synchronize Subassembly Properties</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Attributes</b>.

      <div class="title_division">Stock length</div>
      <p class="para_division">There are two options to control how the system reports the lengths of stock, <b class="uiTerm">Single Sum</b> and <b class="uiTerm">List Each</b>.
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Single Sum</b> option causes all stock with the same part number to report as a single line item. The value of the sum of all their lengths appears in the Length column for that line item.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">List Each</b> option causes stock with the same part number and the same length to report as a line item, but stocks with a different part number or a different length report as another line item. The value reported in the Length column is the length of one piece of stock, not the sum of the lengths. The <b class="uiTerm">Quantity</b> box contains the number of pieces of stock having that length.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Freeze parts list</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Freeze Parts List</b> is a push button that freezes the item numbers in the parts list to their current assignments. Once you choose this button, the button reads <b class="uiTerm">Parts List Frozen</b> and is insensitive. You can then add or remove items from the parts list without changing the item numbers of objects already on the parts list. The parts list may not be unfrozen from this dialog box, but can be from the <b class="uiTerm">Parts List</b> interface.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Show Blank Lines</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you remove items from the parts list after it has been frozen, there may be item numbers which no longer have items assigned to them. The <b class="uiTerm">Show Blank Lines</b> controls how these line items are reported. If you turn <b class="uiTerm">Show Blank Lines</b> on, then the line item is included in the parts list, but only the item number appears. If <b class="uiTerm">Show Blank Lines</b> is off then that line item is skipped, causing a break in the sequence of item numbers.
