      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Annotations are important to the formboard functionality because of the need to convey specific details of the design to a manufacturer. The specific details of the design range from wire lengths and sizes, to connector identifications and complete cut sheet descriptions. The tools will provides you with the ability to quickly place these details within the formboard assembly. You can parameterize some annotations so that changes to the formboard assembly are reflected in the pertinent annotations.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can use the <b class="uiTerm">General Annotation Tool</b> to quickly create annotations for wires, bundles, connectors, tape markings, and nodal dimensions. The example below shows a typical example of a component annotation.

      <p class="para_topic">When creating an annotation the user can specify the fields for a format or load a previously stored format. This format can include a list of columns for the report and their associated data driver (attribute, parameter, or <b class="uiTerm">Route List</b> field). You can manually modify any or all of these at the time of annotation creation and edit them later through the use of Drafting <b class="uiTerm">Annotation Editor</b>. Any associative annotations will update during formboard.
