      <p class="para_topic">Use the Read NX Model command to open, view and process NX models of PC boards, or PCB assemblies including components. When the  Read command is executed, the board geometry, drilled holes and restriction areas, as well as component footprint, placement and orientation are read into PCB.xchange and checked for modeling errors and ECAD compatibility. The PCB Assembly appears in the graphics window.       </p>
      <p class="para_topic">To open an NX model:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose  <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Read</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Read NX Model</b>. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select  either <b class="uiTerm">Board + Components</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Board Only</b> as appropriate.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the NX assembly or board part you want to read in. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>. A window pops up, displaying the  <em>Reading NX Model</em> messages. When the read operation is complete, the last message indicates success or failure, displaying the name and location of the read log file, and the number of warnings it contains. Use a text editor to view warnings. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Inspect the PCB Assembly for visible errors. </p>
