      <p class="para_topic">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Edit</b> to edit existing stock or overstock. This button is sensitive when you select one and only one row in the <b class="uiTerm">Stock</b> dialog box. The stock of the selected row is the stock being edited. Generally, you have the same options that you have when assigning stock.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">If the selected stock is not overstock, you may change the type of stock in Step 1 and the segments to which the stock is assigned in Step 2. If the selected stock is overstock, you may make changes in any or all of the four steps of the <b class="uiTerm">Edit</b> dialog box. The options are the same as in <b class="uiTerm">Assign Stock</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">To change the covered stock (fourth step), check the stocks or overstocks that are DIRECTLY under the overstock and uncheck those stocks or overstocks that are not.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">An example of the management of overstock layering is spiral wrap tape over a wire bundle and corrugated tubing (used as a protection for the wire bundle) with the tape holding the tubing to the wire bundle. See the figure below.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">If you wanted the tape only on the wire bundle, you would uncheck the corrugated tube and leave the wire bundle checked. This would remove the tape from the tubing and place it on the wire bundle over that portion of the segment(s) where it used to be over the tubing (shown below).</p>
