      <p class="para_topic">Consider a connector, which has a multiport with 10 terminal ports defined. The terminal ports are located at the bottom of the holes, which have a depth of 1 unit. In this case, the extension length of 1.000 is assigned to the multiport of the component to allow clearance of all wires with the holes on the component. If the holes were of varying lengths, each terminal port would have unique values assigned. Additionally, you could use an expression evaluated in the assembly work part. Lastly, a cut back length of 3.000 is specified as a characteristic (CUT_BACK_LENGTH) on the multiport. With this set up, <b class="uiTerm">Create Terminals</b> can automatically generate the model shown above.
