      <p class="para_topic">You can use the Board Mesh Settings dialog box to define the properties of the board mesh when preparing to create an FE Model from an ECAD file. You can define board mesh size, material and color, as well as filters and parameters that make meshing more practical by simplifying geometry.       <p class="para_topic">To specify the board mesh settings:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Thermal Analysis</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Board Settings</b>. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a  <b class="uiTerm">Board Element Material</b> from the drop-down list of available materials defined in the PCB.xchange material definitions file. The material is used to define the board elements when it is exported to an FE model. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify a  <b class="uiTerm">Board Element Size</b>, and the units for this value. This establishes a target size that the NX mesher attempts to meet when it creates the board mesh. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a  <b class="uiTerm">Board Element Color</b> from the drop-down list of available colors. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify a  <b class="uiTerm">Number of Segments per Circular Arc</b> so that the NX mesher creates elements of the desired density around curved board features. 
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division"> Options</div>
      <p class="para_division">Several of the following options specify a value. You can choose the units for this value from the dropdown menu next to the value field.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select  <b class="uiTerm">Ignore Cutouts &lt;</b> and specify a value (and its units) to instruct the mesher to mesh over cutouts smaller than the specified value, rather than mesh around them. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select  <b class="uiTerm">Ignore Drilled Holes &lt;</b> and specify a value (and its units) to instruct the mesher to mesh over holes smaller than the specified value, rather than mesh around them. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Create Node at Center of Holes</b> to ensure that the mesh can share these nodes with other elements in the FE Model. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select  <b class="uiTerm">Ignore Edge Features &lt;</b> and specify a value (and its units) to instruct the mesher to mesh over edge features (such as notches) smaller than the specified value, rather than mesh around them. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select  <b class="uiTerm">Make Board Rectangular</b> to instruct the mesher to simplify the shape of the board to the smallest rectangle in which the actual board shape fits. 
            </p>
