      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Each Routing application ships with a parts directory. For instance, the Routing Mechanical application is shipped with sample parts in UGII_BASE_DIR/ugroute_mech/inch/parts/ and UGII_BASE_DIR/ugroute_mech/metric/parts/. The parts contained in these directories are NX part families. A family member generates when a new member of a family is used. When you save the family member part it is placed in the directory defined by the environment variable UGII_ROUTING_MEMBER_SAVE_DIR. If you do not define this environment variable then the system saves the family member parts in the directory used to start the NX session.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">Before using a Routing application you must choose the directory that contains the family member parts and set the environment variable to reference the desired directory. You should also save your load options to define the set of search directories, which permit Assemblies to find the part family parts and the family member parts.</p>
