      <p class="para_topic">The end point that defines a reference vector for the slave offset paths. This reference vector starts at the first RCP of the parent path and defines the direction of the placement of the first child path. Chose the end point as an existing point or as a screen coordinate using the <b class="uiTerm">Point Constructor</b> menu. Project the vector created from the start RCP and chosen end point onto the placement plane to determine the pattern reference vector. Define the placement plane as a plane normal to the tangent of the parent path at its first RCP.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The options on the <b class="uiTerm">Parallel Offset Path</b> dialog box are:
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Pattern start angle</div>
      <p class="para_division">The angle, measured anti&ndash;clockwise from the reference vector used as the reference for the first child path.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Move pattern display</div>
      <p class="para_division">This changes the controlling Pattern from one end of the selected path to the other.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Pattern</div>
      <p class="para_division">This is a listing of possible pattern views for the parent and child paths.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Circular: Circular pattern view. The number of paths specified above will be equally spaced from 0 to a user input value. If <b class="uiTerm">Circular</b> is the pattern chosen, <b class="uiTerm">Number of Paths</b> and angle in the <b class="uiTerm">Circular Pattern</b> section are visible. The figure on the left shows the <b class="uiTerm">Circular</b> pattern options.
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Radial Offset</b>: This is the radial distance that the offset paths will be from the parent path. Valid values are greater than zero (0). For invalid values, a <b class="uiTerm">Cue</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Status</b> message appear.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Number of Paths</b>: This is the number of offset paths that create with the parent path as a pattern. Valid values are integers greater than zero (0) .
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Total Angle</b>: This defines the total angle over which the circularly offset child paths will place evenly. Valid values are greater than 0 and less than or equal to 360.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Rectangular</b>: Rectangular pattern view. The rows and columns below specify the size and layout. The number of paths is [(Rows X Columns) &ndash; 1]. If you choose a <b class="uiTerm">Rectangular</b> pattern, <b class="uiTerm">Number of Rows</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Number of Columns</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Row of Parent</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Column of Parent</b> in the <b class="uiTerm">Rectangular Pattern</b> section are visible.
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Row Offset</b>: This is the distance that the offset paths will be from the parent path in the row direction.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Column Offset</b> : This is the distance that the offset paths will be from the parent path in the column direction. The column direction will be a direction 90&deg; anti&ndash;clockwise from the pattern reference vector.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Number of Rows</b>: The number of rows in the pattern view. Valid values are 1 to the maximum integer that the workstation on which NX is running will allow.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Number of Columns</b>: The number of columns in the pattern view. Valid values are 1 to the maximum integer that the workstation on which NX is running will allow.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Row of Parent</b>: The row location of the parent path in the rectangular pattern. Valid values are within and including the values specified for the number of rows in the pattern.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Column of Parent</b>: The column location of the parent path in the rectangular pattern. Valid values are within and including the values specified for the number of columns in the pattern.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Copy bend corners</div>
      <p class="para_division">This is an option that allows/disallows bend corner segments (fillets created with <b class="uiTerm">Assign Corner</b>) to be copied to the offset paths. If it is checked, the <b class="uiTerm">Bend Creation Options</b> is sensitive. If it is not checked, the above mentioned options will be insensitive and the child paths will create as contiguous segments.
