If the Wrap Type is Spot, you may specify Number of Wraps. This is the number of times the overstock wraps around directly on top of itself (usually two or three times). You can use the number of wraps to determine the length of the overstock used (along with the covered diameter and the overstock thickness).

If the Wrap Type is Overlap Spiral, then you may enter the Percentage Ovrlap (between 0 and 100). A 50% overlap implies that the overstock covers half of its width with each wrap and leaves half uncovered. A 25% overlap means that is covers just a quarter of the width and three quarters is not covered.

If the Wrap Type is Striped Spiral, the second entry specifies Gap Distance. The overstock does not overlap, but leaves a gap between each wrap. The width of the gap between wraps is the gap distance. Note: Use this for overstock length calculation only, and is not reflected in the solid model generated to represent the overstock.
