      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Qualify Part</b> dialog box contains an option for specifying the work part as a <b class="uiTerm">Template Assembly</b>. This option is available under the menu when the type of the part is <b class="uiTerm">Fitting</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">With the Assemblies <b class="uiTerm">Part Family</b> part as the current work part, you must enter <b class="uiTerm">Qualify Part</b>, choose <b class="uiTerm">Fitting</b> as the <b class="uiTerm">Route Part Type</b> (default setting), choose <b class="uiTerm">Template Assembly</b> from the menu, and then choose <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>. This is the only requirement to qualify an Assemblies <b class="uiTerm">Part Family</b> as a Routing <b class="uiTerm">Template Assembly</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can define ports and anchors in a template part for use during initial placement of the assembly. However, the system does not copy these ports and anchors into the work part during placement (or any other objects at the assembly part level). Ports in the component parts of the template assembly are connected as if each component were placed separately.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Place part usage</div>
      <p class="para_division">Choose the <b class="uiTerm">Place Part</b> button <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_t_place_part.gif" border="0"> and use <b class="uiTerm">Specify Item</b> to choose the part to place. If the part chosen in <b class="uiTerm">Specify Item</b> is a <b class="uiTerm">Template Assembly</b> part, all actions remain the same until after the part has been oriented and placed. After placing the member generated from the <b class="uiTerm">Template Assembly</b>, the member removes from the assembly and the components in the member part copy up into the work part with the correct orientation.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Attributes copy to each component by looking through the part table structure for all places where that member is used. You can perform additional filtering using the <b class="uiTerm">Destination</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Specification Characteristics</b> specified in the <b class="uiTerm">Specify Item</b> dialog box.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The part label defaults to the name of the part that has multiple matches in the part library. The single selection list contains the part number of all matching entries in the part library the first entry will be selected by default.&nbsp;You may chose the Info button to view the characteristics of each entry. Choose one entry and <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> to proceed.
