<p class="para_topic">You can use the Drilled Hole Attributes dialog box to assign and modify the attributes of one or more drilled holes. A drilled hole is a circular hole through the board created in a drilling operation. It is distinguished from a cut-out, which can be machined or stamped. You can specify the purpose of the drilled hole, whether it is plated or not, the name of the part associated with the hole, and the hole's owner. The attributes correspond to similarly named fields in an IDF3 file.</p>
<p class="para_topic">A drilled hole is represented in NX as a Hole feature through the board (or any similar feature that provides the 2-D size and location of the drilled hole). You can later modify the feature's size or position. This drilled hole is tagged with the attributes defined in the Drilled Hole Attributes dialog box. You can define the feature using the Modeling application. To delete the drilled hole, simply delete the feature, or remove its attributes.</p>
