      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Use a text editor or a spreadsheet to create a Part Table, which contains all of the part specifications for the part family. If a spreadsheet is used convert the spreadsheet to a Part Table using ss2ptb.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The Part Table must contain columns for the NX part family member name, the NX part family name, and a unique part number. It must also contain columns for all the basic expressions, which drive the part geometry. In addition it may contain columns for other part specifications such as material type.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You must specify the type of data (string, real or integer), for each column. This information is contained in the second row in a spreadsheet.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You may define characteristics, which are not used for selecting parts, as columns, which are hidden during part selection. The information contained in hidden columns, is still copied to the part occurrences. In a spreadsheet hidden columns are defined along with the data type specification in the second row.       <p class="para_division">To incorporate the newly created Part Family into a part library, add a node to the part library view file, which references the Part Table.</p>
