      </table><br><p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Place Part</b> now eliminates placement solutions that contradict flow direction. If a fitting that has a port with FLOW DIRECTION = IN is placed on a segment with <b class="uiTerm">Flow Direction</b> assigned, every placement solution will be such that the flow direction of the segment agrees with the flow direction of the port.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Flow arrows</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Flow Arrows</b> are required to communicate flow direction in a <b class="uiTerm">Logical</b> diagram. <b class="uiTerm">Flow Arrows</b> are considered annotation, as opposed to the <b class="uiTerm">Flow Indicators</b> that would not be seen on a drawing.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Flow Arrows</b> are created in model space from the <b class="uiTerm">Logical</b> Routing application, and then transferred to a drawing sheet as part of the view added to the drawing. &nbsp;The arrows are added to the model through a dialog box accessed by choosing an button on the application&ndash;specific tool bar <img align="bottom" src="graphics/flow_arrow_icon.gif" border="0">.

               <p class="para_td">Three arrow types are available; <b class="uiTerm">Open</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Closed</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Filled</b>. &nbsp;These are presented as the three buttons at the top of the dialog box, respectively.

               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Flow Arrow Placement</b></p>

               <p class="para_td">When the <b class="uiTerm">Place Flow Arrow</b> dialog box is active, you can select near any segment that has flow assigned and that lies in a plane parallel to the current view (segments without flow assigned are not selectable, nor are segments askew to the view plane).
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">An arrow is immediately placed at the point along the segment closest to the pick point, remaining highlighted.&nbsp;The tip of the arrow is positioned on the pick point and the arrow is centered on the segment (in the direction of flow, of course). The <b class="uiTerm">Flow Arrow</b> is drawn as a two dimensional symbol. The plane in which the arrow lies is that which is parallel to the current view.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">The arrow may then be dragged along the segment by selecting the shortcut menu with the cursor over the arrow and moving the mouse.&nbsp;If another pick is made with a left click, another arrow is created and becomes available for shortcut menu repositioning.</p>
               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Undo</b> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/undo.gif" border="0"> is available to remove arrows back to the invocation of the dialog box. When <b class="uiTerm">Close</b> is chosen, the active arrow is unhighlighted and the dialog box exits.
               </p>
