      <h4 class="refClassification">Group Evaluator Data </h4>
      <p class="para_refTopic">Defines a group of external geometric or beam cross-section entities.  These entities should belong to the same evaluator-class (set of routines that process them), and in the case of geometric data, should reside on the same database.  The GMCURV, GMSURF, PBARL and PBEAML Bulk Data entries refer to the groups defined here. </p>

For geometry, two classes of evaluators are provided internally with NX Nastran.  They are MSCRPC (Rational Parametric Cubic) and MSCEQN (Generic Equation).  For beam cross-sections, the class MSCBML (NX Nastran Beam Library) is provided internally.  Users may develop custom evaluator libraries for geometry or beam cross-sections and configure them for use with NX Nastran. These names may be used in the GMCURV and GMSURF entries, without being defined explicitly by means of a CONNECT FMS statement.  The group MSCGRP0 corresponds to the MSCRPC (Rational Parametric Cubic) evaluator and the group MSCGRP1 corresponds to the MSCEQN (Generic Equation) evaluator. </p>

            <li><a name="ref76946"></a><p class="para_item">A single reserved group name, MSCBML0 has been predefined for beam cross-section entities.  It may be used in the PBARL and PBEAML entries, without being defined explicitly by means of a CONNECT FMS statement.  It corresponds to the MSCBML (Beam-Library) evaluator. </p>

                     <p class="para_item">internal, where the evaluator routines are linked with the rest of the NX Nastran object modules to comprise the NX Nastran executable program, </p>

                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">or external, where the evaluator routines are linked with a provided server program to constitute an independent geometry server. </p>
                  </li>

               <p class="para_item">In this case, the user is requesting that all calculations on GMCURV and GMSURF Bulk Data entries that are grouped as FENDER use the CATIA database/evaluator.  For each GMCURV and GMSURF entry where the group parameter is set to FENDER, appropriate evaluator routines will be called to initialize and perform computations on the curve or surface. </p>

               <p class="para_item">CONNECT GEOMEVAL HOOD, MSCRPC </p>
               <p class="para_item">In this case the user is requesting that all calculations on GMCURV and GMSURF Bulk Data entries that are grouped as HOOD use the NX Nastran RPC database/evaluator.  There is no need for additional routines to be supplied by the user since the MSCRPC and MSCEQN evaluator libraries are included in the standard NX Nastran delivery. </p>

               <p class="para_item">CONNECT GEOMEVAL DOOR, MSCEQN </p>
               <p class="para_item">In this case, the user is requesting that all calculations on GMCURV and GMSURF Bulk Data entries that are grouped as DOOR use the MSC.Nastran<sup class="superscript">&reg;</sup> (MSC.Nastran is a registered trademark of MSC.Software Corporation) EQUATION database/evaluator.  There is no need for additional routines to be supplied by the user since the MSCRPC and MSCEQN evaluator libraries are included in the NX Nastran standard delivery.

               <p class="para_item">CONNECT BEAMEVAL HOIST, NEWBEAMS </p>
               <p class="para_item">In this case, the user is requesting that all calculations on PBARL and PBEAML Bulk Data entries that are grouped as HOIST use the NEWBEAMS evaluator.  The user must supply the NEWBEAMS beam cross-section evaluator library, and configure it to function with the NX Nastran executable program. </p>
