               <p class="para_item">Both PRINT and PUNCH may be requested. </p>
            </li>

               <p class="para_item">ALL should not be used in a transient problem due to excessive output. </p>
            </li>
            <li>

               <p class="para_item">ELSTRESS is an alternate form and is entirely equivalent to STRESS. </p>

               <p class="para_item">STRESS=NONE overrides an overall output request. </p>

               <p class="para_item">The PLOT option is used when contour plots of stresses are requested but no printer output of stresses is desired.  However in nonlinear analysis, the nonlinear stresses will still be printed unless NLSTRESS(PLOT) is specified. </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">The VONMISES option is ignored for ply stresses. </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">The VONMISES, MAXS, and SHEAR options are ignored in the complex eigenvalue and frequency response solution sequences. </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">The options CENTER, CORNER, CUBIC, SGAGE, and BILIN are recognized only in the first subcase and determine the option to be used in all subsequent subcases with the STRESS, STRAIN, and FORCE commands.  (In superelement analysis, the first subcase refers to the first subcase of each superelement.  Therefore, it is recommended that these options be specified above all subcases.)  Consequently, options specified in subcases other than the first subcase will be ignored.  See also <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('QRG/05ref73192_57.html');return(false);">FORCE </a> command for further discussion. 
               </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">For composite ply output, the grid point option for CQUAD4 elements will be reset to the default option (CENTER). </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">For nonlinear analysis, the grid point option for CQUAD4 elements will be reset to the default (CENTER) option for nonlinear elements. </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">MAXS for shell elements is not an equivalent stress. </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">The option of PSDF, ATOC, CRMS, and RALL, or any combination of them can be selected for random analysis. The results can be either printed to the .f06 file, punched to the punch file, or output to both files using RPRINT and RPUNCH.</p>

      <div class="title_refCategory">Remarks related to SOLs 601 and 701: </div>
      <div class="refCategoryContent">
         <ol type="1" start="1">
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">Output is restricted to REAL format and CENTER or CORNER for CQUAD4 element stresses. IMAG, PHASE, CUBIC, SGAGE, PSDF, ATOC and RALL are ignored.</p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">The same request is used for element strain output in both linear and nonlinear analysis, i.e., the STRAIN command is ignored for linear analysis. </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">CQUAD8 and CTRIA6 (non-hyperelastic) element results are always output in the op2 file using linear stress and strain data blocks, even if a nonlinear material model is used with these elements. </p>
            </li>
            <li>
               <p class="para_item">If there is any nonlinearity in the model, i.e., large displacements, contact, or nonlinear material models, element results are output in the op2 file using nonlinear element stress/strain data block, including elements with linear material models. Exceptions are the CQUAD8 and CTRIA6 elements mentioned in remark 3. </p>
