                  <p class="para_td">By default, the label is the name of the rule in the DFA file. &nbsp;This is generally &nbsp;not a good name for the user since it cannot include spaces or many other characters. You may specify a label, which results in the creation of a new String rule in the DFA file with the name of the rule and the extension &quot;_LABEL&quot;.</p>

                  <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Display Method</b></p>

                  <p class="para_td">Use any one of the following options for the display method:</p>
                  <ul>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Default</b> &mdash; uses an appropriate numeric or string key-in field for the entry of the value of the parameter. &nbsp;No additional rules are inserted in the DFA file for the default display method.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Option Menu</b> &mdash; provides a &nbsp;pre-defined set of values to the user. Generally, this method is used for short lists. When selected, the multi-line key-in area becomes active. Enter the predefined options for the list one per line. This choice results in the creation of a new List rule in the DFA file using the name of the rule and the extension &quot;_OPTION&quot;. The rule contains a list of the items from the multi-line text field.
                        </p>

                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Scale</b> &mdash; &nbsp;applies to either a Number or an Integer attribute. &nbsp;The input values for a scale determine the range of values and number of decimal points. &nbsp;For Integer attributes the Precision field is ignored. &nbsp;Using a display method of Scale results in a new rule in the DFA file based off the root attribute name and the extension &quot;_RANGE&quot;. The attribute is a list data type with three number fields for the min, max, and precision values.
                        </p>

                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">List</b> &mdash; provides a &nbsp;pre-defined set of values to the user. &nbsp;This method is used for larger number of items, cases where you want to select multiple items, or when the strings for individual items are long. When selected, the multi-line key-in area becomes active. Enter the predefined options for the list one per line. This choice results in the creation of a new List rule in the DFA file using the name of the rule and the extension &quot;_INIT&quot;. The rule contains a list of the items from the multi-line text field. The display method is list, the rule type is also list, and you can multi-select. If the list is used for any other attribute type, then the list is single select.

                  <p class="para_td">Lets you enter the predefined options for the list, one per line. This list box becomes available when you choose <b class="uiTerm">Option Menu</b> or <b class="uiTerm">List</b> as the display method.

                  </p>

                  <p class="para_td">Sets the values for the scale slider using the following options: </p>
                  <ul>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Min Value</b> &mdash; sets the minimum value of the slider.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Max Value</b> &mdash; sets the maximum value of the slider.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Precision</b> &mdash; sets the decimal place precision increments of the slider. This field is ignored by integer attributes.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                  </ul>
                  <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Scale</b> Fields becomes available after you select the <b class="uiTerm">Scale</b> method from the <b class="uiTerm">Display Method</b> option.
