      <p class="para_topic"><b>Checker&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>specific criteria defined in a DFA file that evaluates when Check-Mate executes. For example, a checker can determine if a part file's name conforms to a company's part file naming conventions. A checker is also referred to as a <b class="literalText">Test</b>, particularly in the <b class="uiTerm">Check-Mate</b> dialog.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"><b>Log File&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>a file containing the results of a Check-Mate execution.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"><b>Profile&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>comprises a named collection of checkers. Selecting a profile to execute is the same as selecting the set of checkers included in the profile. A profile also has parameter values that determine when to check and when to save the log file.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"><b>Session Profile&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>a profile that remains active only until the NX session ends. This is also referred to as a <b class="literalText">Temporary Profile</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"><b>Quick Access Profile&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>a profile associated with a toolbar or menu for easy access. This is also referred to as a <b class="literalText">User Defined Profile</b>.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"><b>Category&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>organizes the display of checkers and profiles in the <b class="uiTerm">Check-Mate</b> dialog. A category is not an executable unit.
