      <p class="para_topic">After all the parameters are defined, the Tolerance Stackup Validation <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('quickstack/simulation.html');return(false);">simulation</a> can be invoked. The simulation is based on a Monte-Carlo stackup analysis engine that predicts the minimum and maximum variation for each specified measurement for an <b class="uiTerm">Use Extreme Distribution</b>, or random variations between (and including) the minimum and maximum variations for a <b class="uiTerm">Use Normal Distribution</b>. In addition, the tolerances contributing to the variations are ranked. The simulation uses random combinations of the extreme tolerance values for all the tolerances in the assembly. Mating conditions are evaluated to simulate the sequence and the method of component assembly.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The number of simulations is based on the number and type of tolerances participating in the measurement.</p>
