      <p class="para_topic">You must tell NX where to find the machine tool data that you create. Do this as follows:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">From the menu, select <b class="uiTerm">Files</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Options</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Load Options</b>. The <b class="uiTerm">Load Options</b> dialog opens. By default, the load options are set to <b class="uiTerm">From Directory</b>. This will only work if the part you are opening is in the same directory as the machine tool components. We recommend that you do not place any part that you are machining in the same directory as the machine tool components. These should be kept separate.

            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Search Directories</b>.

         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select <b class="uiTerm">Define Search Directories</b>. The <b class="uiTerm">Load Options</b> dialog now contains a field with paths the system uses to search for files when opening parts.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">New Directory</b> field, enter the path to the topmost directory containing your machine tool. In our example, this is my_machine_tool. If you have multiple machine tool models, enter the path to the directory containing all of these models. 
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_topic">To have all of these graphics available for loading, enter the path as <b class="literalText">\your_directory_structure\machine_tool_graphics...</b> . The ellipses (three dots) enable directory recursion, telling the system to look further down the directory structure for files to load.
