      </table><br><p class="para_topic">In this section you use KF to control some of the operation parameters. Once an operation is adopted into KF you can control the most important operation parameters through KF functions.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">This example shows you how to control the blank distance and the cut depths of the operations by using KF.</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the Resource Bar, click the Knowledge Fusion Navigator tab. The Knowledge Fusion Navigator displays a tree structure that begins with the root. In the Name column the adopted operations are listed. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Expand the ROUGH_UG_OPEN_POCKET node. The Attributes node is displayed.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Expand the Attributes node and see the parameters: blank_distance, depth_per_cut, etc.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Double click the parameter blank_distance. The Edit Attribute dialog displays an entry field.</p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Enter the rule below in the field:</p>
            <p class="para_item">ug_oper_askFeatureHeight(); </p>
            <p class="para_item">The blank distance is now tied to the features height.</p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Click OK to exit the dialog. The feature's height should appear in the Value column.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Double click the parameter depth_per_cut. The Edit Attribute dialog displays a field for entering the rule below:</p>
            <p class="para_item">ug_cam_pocket_cut_levels()</p>
            <p class="para_item">This calls a KF function which compares the tool diameter with the feature's height and calculates multiple equal cut levels if the height exceeds the diameter by a certain amount. This value will be used for the depth_per_cut parameter.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Perform steps 3-7 for the two remaining finishing operations.</p>
