      <p class="para_topic">There are two ways to access Shop Documentation: the Manufacturing Part Reports dialog, and the Postprocessing dialog. The Manufacturing Part Reports dialog creates shop documentation based on all the information in your part file. The Postprocessing dialog generates shop documentation for one selected program within your part file. The Postprocessing dialog does not offer the number of options for generating shop documentation that the Manufacturing Part Reports dialog offers. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Manufacturing Part Reports Dialog</div>
      <p class="para_division">In the Main Menu bar, choose Information &rarr; Shop Documentation. Or you can choose the Shop Documentation icon.  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_t_shop_documentation.gif" border="0"></p>
      <p class="para_division">When the Manufacturing Part Reports dialog appears you see a list of the twelve templates. These templates are described in detail in the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfggeneral/main_expl_pred_temp.html');return(false);">Explanation of Predefined Templates</a> document. They are available with the delivered system.

            <p class="para_item">In the Manufacturing Part Reports dialog, choose an available template from the list defining the appropriate documentation contents and format.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Then specify an output file destination and name. This is where you store your output.</p>

                  <p class="para_item">The Browse button allows you to browse through the directories to choose your output file destination and name.</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">The default extension is .txt for text formats and .html for html formats. However, you do not see this in the dialog. If you do not enter an extension it is determined by the format you select.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">If you are in a Teamcenter environment, or if your configuration includes LIBRARY_CAM_OUTPUT, the name and location of the output files is chosen for you. </p>

            <p class="para_item">The List Output option can be checked if you would like to see the output on the screen in addition to the output to a file. If you have only made minor changes to the Shop Documentation and do not want to take the time for the display to appear on the screen, you can uncheck List Output to speed up the output process.</p>

            <p class="para_item">If you use HTML, the actual HTML code is displayed in the information window. If you generate an HTML file, use your web browser to view the results.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the OK to generate the output.</p>
         </li>

      <div class="title_division">Postprocessing Dialog</div>
      <p class="para_division">Select the program in the Operation Navigator. Then in the Main Menu bar select Tools-&rarr;Operation Navigator-&rarr; Output-&rarr;Post Postprocess. Or you can select the Postprocessing icon.  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_t_postprocess.gif" border="0"> The Postprocessing dialog appears.

                  <p class="para_note_body">A Post execute license is required for the postprocessing shop documentation options. </p>

            <p class="para_item">In the Postprocessing dialog scroll the Available Machines window to the last four options. These four options are the shop documentation options available in the Postprocessing dialog. They are explained in the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfggeneral/main_expl_pred_temp.html');return(false);">Explanation of Predefined Templates</a> section and are available with the delivered system.

            <p class="para_item">Choose an available template from the list defining the appropriate documentation contents and format.</p>
