      <p class="para_topic">User Defined enables you to generate drive paths by temporarily exiting NX and executing an internal user function program. This capability provides added system flexibility by allowing you to use drive paths in the current operation that are created outside of NX. For definitions and general procedures, refer to the discussion of User Defined Operations. For names of CAM environment variables, refer to the &nbsp;API Reference Manual .</p>
      <div class="title_division">CAM Exit Name</div>
      <p class="para_division">This field enables you to enter the name of an operating system environment variable which contains the path name of the shared library containing the User Function Program. This makes it possible to move the library without having to modify all the operations which were generated by the program in that library.</p>
      <div class="title_division">User's Parameters</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option enables you to access a user exit dedicated to the interactive specification of parameters for the drive path. The User Function program is responsible for associating these parameters with the calling operation, using the name of the operation as the link.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Tool Axis</div>
      <p class="para_division">Tool Axis allows you to specify a Tool Axis in the same way you were able to in the Surface Contouring Dialog. This option is available only if you are in Variable Contour.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Projection Vector</div>
      <p class="para_division">Projection Vector is an option common to most Drive Methods. It enables you to determine how the Drive Points project to the Part Surface. An option allowing the creation of projection vectors by the User Function program is available.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Display Drive Path</div>
      <p class="para_division">Display Drive Path generates a temporary screen display showing the Drive Path generated according to the Drive Parameters specified above.</p>
