      <p class="para_topic">Pocket Direction (Follow Periphery Only) allows you to direct the tool to start cutting at the periphery of the part and finish at the center (or vice versa). This process of reversing the pocketing tool path provides a method for face or core milling, can eliminate the need to pre-drill holes, and lessens chip interference. The option toggles between Inward and Outward. Inward begins the cut as described above. Outward moves the tool from the center to the periphery. Outward is the system default.</p>
