      <p class="para_topic">Some of the selections under Options are selectable only for Continuous Path Motions. The options that are unique to Continuous Path Motion are described below. Refer to Options for an illustration of the Other Options dialog box and a description of the options used in the Engage Motion sub-operation.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Custom Corner Control</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Custom Corner Control option is provided to help prevent gouging the part as the cutter cuts around corners. Custom Corner Control, in Sequential Milling, is active for Continuous Path sub-operations only.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The parameters set using Custom Corner Control override the parameters set using Default Corner Control for the current sub-operation only.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Toggling the Custom Corner Control button ON and choosing the Edit Parameters action button, displays the Corner and Feed rate Control dialog. Refer to Corner and Feed Rate Control under Common Options for a complete description.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Maximum Step</div>
      <p class="para_division">Maximum Step (Continuous Path only) allows you to specify the maximum length of individual tool moves in the current sub-operation. If you change the default value of ten inches, the new value becomes the default value for the current and subsequent sub-operations. If you are editing a sub-operation, changing the Maximum Step does not affect subsequent sub-operations. You must specify a positive value.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Maximum Points</div>
      <p class="para_division">Maximum Points allows you to specify the maximum number of points generated by the system in the current sub-operation. If you change the default value of 400, the new value becomes the default value for the current and subsequent sub-operations. If you are editing a sub-operation, changing the Maximum Points does not affect subsequent sub-operations.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Automatic Reposition</div>
      <p class="para_division">Automatic Reposition is available for Continuous Path sub-operations only.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the tool is out of tolerance to the Drive or Part geometry at the start of the current continuous path sub-operation and the status is:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Inactive, an error message is output and you return to the Continuous Path Motion dialog.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Active, the tool is repositioned within tolerance of the drive and part geometry (if possible) and the continuous path sub-operation will continue. Examine the repositioning move to determine its acceptability.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

      <p class="para_division">This is helpful for repositioning the tool that may get out of tolerance as it stops cutting along one surface and begins cutting along the next surface.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Automatic Redefinition</div>
      <p class="para_division">Automatic Redefinition is available for Continuous Path sub-operations only. It gives you the option of saving all the points generated before a processor error.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When this option is active, the sub-operation option settings are saved, except the Check Surface is replaced by a temporary plane passing through the last point generated and:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Normal to the direction of motion. (If a Fan tool axis is not in effect)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Containing the tool axis at that point and as normal as possible to the direction of motion. (If a Fan tool axis is in effect)</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The status of the Stopping Position option will be On Surf in both cases. The Intersection Number is set to 1. If multiple check surfaces were specified, only the temporary plane will remain.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the editing method is Insert, the dialog for the next Continuous Path sub-operation will have the following default parameters that are different from the usual ones:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The default Drive Surface is the Drive Surface from the previous sub-operation.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The default Part Surface is the Part Surface from the previous sub-operation.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">All Check Surfaces originally specified in the previous sub-operation are carried over to the new sub-operation.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The Direction option is set to Forward.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">If the editing method is Verify/Modify, the next sub-operation is not modified.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If this option is inactive, the points generated are discarded and you return to the Continuous Path Motion dialog after the processor error message is displayed.</p>
