      <p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Specify Check</b> defines geometry you do not wish to violate such as clamps that hold the part. The areas where the check geometry overlaps the volume of material to remove are not cut. Specify a <b class="uiTerm">Check Stock</b> value (<b class="uiTerm">Cutting Parameters</b> dialog box&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Stock</b>) to control the distance the tool is positioned from the check geometry.

      <p class="para_topic">The tool path will either cut around the Check geometry (as illustrated above) or it will retract depending on the status of Follow Check in the Cut Parameters dialog box.</p>
