      <p class="para_topic">This parameter defines the number of teeth that are outside the thread geometry before the start of cut motion.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Filter Options</div>
      <p class="para_division">Filter options are used&nbsp; for filtering the selection of the thread geometry. There are two types of filter settings in the Thread Milling:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Parameters</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Call Out</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The default setting for a new operation both the toggle buttons are OFF. If both the toggle buttons are OFF, you are allowed to select thread features only. The parameters of the first thread feature selected are set as the filter options for subsequent selections.</p>
      <p class="para_division">These filter options once set should not be changed. The setting will apply for the geometry selection for that operation.</p>
      <div class="title_division">&nbsp;Parameters</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you set the Parameters toggle ON, the following filter settings may be specified. These filter options are applied both to the thread features and circles.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When Parameters toggle is switched ON, the values of Pitch, Position and Form fields are used&nbsp; to select the geometry.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Pitch&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">The value corresponding to the pitch of the thread geometry to be selected. This field is grayed out when the Parameters toggle is switched OFF.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Form&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">Allows you to select the thread features of this form type only. This field is grayed out when Parameters is toggled OFF.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Position</div>
      <p class="para_division">Allows you to select the thread features of this position only. This field is grayed out when Parameters is toggled OFF.&nbsp; This position filter is not grayed out if you select the tool before the geometry.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Call Out</div>
      <p class="para_division">This field allows you to specify a thread feature. When the Call Out Toggle is set to ON, the Call Out field becomes editable and you can enter a valid Call Out string.&nbsp;</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you select a circle, the system checks for the compatibility of that circle diameter with the Major Diameter for external threads and Tap Drill Diameter for internal threads from the thread data file provided by us.</p>
