      <p class="para_topic">Machining Parameters enable you to specify cutting tolerances and clearance angles, Stock values, Feed Rates, Post Commands, and Avoidance geometry. Most of the Machining Parameters, options are common to many processors or to Lathe Rough and Lathe Finish. Refer to the Lathe Finish dialog box illustrated at the beginning of this chapter for the appropriate reference pages. The options described below are unique to Lathe Finish.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Cutting</div>
      <p class="para_division">Cutting enables you to define Intol/Outtol values, Cutter Clearance Angles, and Offsets.</p>

      </table><br><p class="para_division">Most of the options in the Cutting dialog are common to both the Lathe Rough and Lathe Finish processors. Refer to Lathe Rough for information on Tolerances and Cutter Clearance Angles. Offsets are unique to Lathe Finish and are described below.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Offsets</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Offsets option allows you to position the tool away from the part boundary on either or both ends.</p>
      <p class="para_division">For example, an offset value can cause the tool to avoid an obstacle at the beginning and/or end of the path. A positive value extends the boundary; a negative value shortens the boundary. Enter the Start Offset and/or End Offset values.</p>
