      <p class="para_topic">You must specify a reference point location. It is used in computing the tool start position. It is also used as the reference to determine the material-side of the part and the TO/ON/PAST condition for the tool stopping position. The tool is not actually moved to the reference point unless you specify it as the Engage Method&gt;Engage Point.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You have the following options:</p>

      <p class="para_topic">The first button under Reference Point allows you to specify the method for selecting the reference point. Screen Position is the default setting. You may choose one of the following:</p>

      <p class="para_topic">Screen Position allows you to use the cursor to specify a point.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Generic Point allows you to use the Point Subfunction to specify a point.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">FROM Point allows you to specify the FROM point as your reference point if a FROM point is defined in your current part. Refer to From Point in the Common Options section for details.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">START Point allows you to specify the START point as your reference point if a START point is defined in your current part.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">ENGAGE Point allows you to specify the ENGAGE point as your reference point if an ENGAGE point is defined in your current part.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Tool End Point allows you to specify the tool end point as your reference point.</p>
      <div class="title_division">DISPLAY</div>
      <p class="para_division">Display allows you to see the location of the reference point. The system highlights and labels the current reference point.</p>
