      </table><br><div class="title_division">Selecting Geometry</div>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">To select the geometry for a two axis machine, select either the Create Operation or the Create Geometry icon.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the Create Operation or Create Geometry dialog, select wire_edm for the type, then select the appropriate Subtype, Program, Use Geometry, Use Tool, Use Method, and Name. Then click OK. </p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">In the displayed dialog, go to WireEDM Geometry and click Select. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Continue to the first step &nbsp;in the Select/Reselect Geometry section below. </p>

      <div class="title_division">Reselecting Geometry</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">To reselect the geometry for a two axis machine, enter the Geometry View in the Operation Navigator and double-click an existing operation. </p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Continue to the first step &nbsp;in the Select/Reselect Geometry section below.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Selecting/Reselecting Geometry</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system displays the WEDM Geometry dialog, allowing you to specify or respecify WireEDM geometry. If you are within the Create Operation subdialog, then the selected geometry is applied only to the current operation. If you are within the Create Geometry subdialog, then the selected geometry is applied to all of the operations in that geometry group.</p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Under Axis Type, select Two Axis  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/wedm_two_axis_ic.gif" border="0">.

         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you select 2 Axis the system displays three filter types:  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/wedm_two_axis_pln_ic.gif" border="0"> face,  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/wedm_crv_bnd.gif" border="0"> curve, or  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/wedm_point_ic.gif" border="0"> point. Use one of these filter types to select your geometry.

      <div class="title_division">Face Boundary</div>

            <p class="para_item">Use your cursor in the graphics field to select the face you want to machine. You can select the boundary in one click. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">For more selecting options, click the Class Selection button to access the Class Selection submenu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you have completed one boundary and are ready to make another, select the Create Next Boundary button. When you select this button, the system completes the boundary you are currently working on and becomes ready to accept another boundary.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you complete a boundary and decide you want to remove it, select the Remove Last button and the system removes the last completed boundary. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division"> Curve Boundary</div>

            <p class="para_item">Use your cursor in the graphics field to select one curve at a time to create your curve boundary. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can use the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgwedm/wedm_geo_select.html');return(false);">Chaining</a> option to more quickly create your curve boundary.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If while selecting the boundary you want to remove the last curve, use the Remove Last button to remove the last curve you selected.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you have completed one boundary and are ready to make another, select the Create Next Boundary button. When you select this button, the system completes the boundary you are currently working on and becomes ready to accept another boundary. </p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you complete a boundary and decide you want to remove it, select the Remove Last button and the system removes the last completed boundary.</p>

      </ol>
      <div class="title_division"> Point Boundary</div>

            <p class="para_item">Use your cursor in the graphics field to select the points of your boundary. As you select the points, the system links them together to create the boundary. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If while selecting the boundary you want to remove the last point, use the Remove Last button to remove the last point you have selected. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you have completed one boundary and are ready to make another, select the Create Next Boundary button. When you select this button, the system completes the boundary you are currently working on and becomes ready to accept another boundary.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you complete a boundary and decide you want to remove it, select the Remove Last button and the system removes the last completed boundary.</p>
