      <p class="para_topic">There are specific functions in CAM to help you accomplish  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgmilling/hsm_cut_strategy.html');return(false);">cutting strategies</a> for high speed machining:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can use the Flowcut Smooth template to clean up valley areas with minimal sharp corners.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the Mold Sequences setup, there are sequences for z-level and zig-zag high speed milling processes which can be used as examples.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Feed rate slowdown in corners: &nbsp;For machines with limited acc&amp;dec, NX can program feed rate slowdowns while going into sharp corners.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In Planar, and Face Milling, for Automatic Engage and Retract, use Helical Ramping, and Circular Engages.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In Surface Contour, use Engage Tangent Arcs and Retract Tangent Arcs, and set Traverse Movement to Smooth.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">For Zig-Zag with Lifts, if you set the Traverse movement to smooth, the result will be a serpentine tool path.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">For Corner Control, turn on Fillets for all passes (this includes stepover moves). &nbsp;</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
