            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Away from part</b> tilts the tool away from the part walls in open areas, and also tilts the tool away from adjacent walls in corners.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">The corners are handled as follows:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">The un&ndash;tilted tool path is offset away from the part by a constant distance. The tool axis direction is then determined by joining points on the un&ndash;tilted path to their closest points on the offset.</p>

                  <p class="para_item">If the tool axis tilt would deviate excessively from the wall normal, the segment is not machined and a straight connection is inserted instead as shown below.</p>

            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Away from point</b> tilts the tool away from the specified point and maintains the same tilt angle in corners.

                        <p class="para_note_body">The z value of the point is ignored. The xy value determines the direction of the tool axis and the tilt angle is relative to the z axis.</p>

                        <p class="para_note_body">The closest 2d distance to the curve in the xy plane determines the direction. The tilt angle controls the angle of the tool axis relative to the z axis. </p>
