      <p class="para_topic">You can specify the system's behavior for cutting at convex corners while performing profiling cuts using the corner options. Convex corners may be normal corners or shallow corners. Shallow corners are convex corners which have an included angle larger than a given minimum corner angle (and less than 180). There are four types of corner options for each type of corner:</p>

         <li>

         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgturning/turn_mp_corner1.html');return(false);">Round corners with radius</a></p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgturning/turn_mp_corner1.html');return(false);">Break corners with distance</a></p>

      <p class="para_division">The system cuts a smooth tool path around the corner, but leaves a sharp corner as follows:</p>

      <p class="para_division">For a normal corner type, using this option produces the following profiling tool path:</p>

      <p class="para_division">The results using Clear Corner for a shallow type corner are as follows:</p>

      <p class="para_division">This option produces a rounded tool path and corner. The results of a rounded corner with a radius of 10 for a normal corner is as follows:</p>

      <div class="title_division"> Break Corners</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Break Corner option flattens out the corner to be cut. The amount by which it is flattened depends on the value you input. This distance represents the distance from the corner of the modelled workpiece to the actual cut. Below is a normal corner cut using the Break Corner option with a distance of 10:</p>
