      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Feed rate is the rate at which the tool advances. The Turning module contains a variety of feed rate control parameters which allow for fine-tuning of the processor's results.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">All feed rate parameters related to non-cutting tool motions default to the rapid feed rate, whereas the cut feed parameter determines the default value for all cutting moves. If you define a custom feed rate for the boundary or any of its segments for finishing, additional profiling and Teachmode, the custom value overrides the feed rate settings defined here.</p>

      <div class="title_division"> Traversal Feed Rate</div>
      <p class="para_division">The software automatically changes from cutting feed rate to traversal feed and back whenever a straight level cut leads out of material and back into it due to the specific shape of the blank. This helps to avoid so-called &quot;air cuts&quot; as shown in the following figure.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Acceleration and deceleration feed rates allow feed rate changes at the beginning and at the end of each singular rough cut, for example when approaching a shoulder. This feature helps to prevent insert breakage due to chips accumulating at the end of a rough cut close to a shoulder or to protect a forged part from breakage in those moments where the cutter leaves the material.</p>
