      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Custom data is data applied to specific portions of a boundary. You define custom data in the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgturning/turn_stock_options.html');return(false);"><b class="uiTerm">Part Boundary</b> dialog</a> at four locations:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Custom boundary data at the geometry group level</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Custom member data at the geometry group level</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Custom boundary data at the operation level</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Custom member data at the operation level</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">Custom data that you define at the geometry group level applies to all operations assigned to that geometry group. The custom data at the operation level only affects the individual operation in which you define the data. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">On both levels it is possible to define boundary data and member data:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b>Custom boundary data&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>is valid for all the segments of the part boundary.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"><b>Custom member data&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>is valid for a single segment of the part boundary.
            </p>
         </li>

To specify custom member data for machining below centerline, you must select the corresponding members above centerline, then designate a <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgturning/06topic_31.html');return(false);">cut region selection point (RSP)</a> below centerline.
