      </table><br><p class="para_topic">In the Constant Chamfer corner type, the chamfer moves up or down, depending on whether you apply positive or negative stock. The chamfer's length does not change. The system translates its end points. The chamfer has the same size and angle after stocking as before. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The system handles exceptional cases by extending adjacent segments to their intersection points after offsetting. It does this tangentially, wherever possible, to maintain smoothness.</p>
