      </table><br><p class="para_topic">If you are using a lathe with freedom of rotation around the tool holder, you can specify the tool orientation around this axis. The tool is rotated in the CAM system as it would be on the machine. You need to define only those tools that are mounted on the machine. Within each Turning operation, you can use a tool in the as-mounted orientation in which it was defined. In roughing, finishing or threading you can flip the tool across the tool holder and cut in the opposite direction. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The tool axis always lies along the tool holder, as shown by  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/num_1.gif" border="0"> below.

      <p class="para_division">Specify the orientation as follows:</p>

            <p class="para_item">From the operation dialog, select Machine.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the machine dialog, activate the Flip Tool Around Holder check box.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Confirm with OK.</p>
