      <div class="title_division">Spindle Axis</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can specify Z Axis (0,0,1), X Axis (1,0,0), -X Axis (-1,0,0), or Y Axis (0,1,0). If you select Z axis the system only allows a tool axis of (0,0,1). If you select X Axis, -X Axis, or Y Axis the system only allows tool axes in the XY plane. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Position in Y-Axis</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option is only available when the Z component of the tool axis is zero. Use this option for cross drilling when the tool axis does not pass through the centerline.</p>

               <p class="para_td">For machines that can position Y in addition to XZC. This mode is only valid when the tool axis has a K component of zero for work on the circumference. When the tool axis does not pass through the centerline, the post will then calculate the Y-axis position. </p>

               <p class="para_td">Off </p>
            </td>
            <td bgcolor="#f4f4f4" colspan="1" rowspan="1">
               <p class="para_td">For machines that can only position in XZC. When the tool axis has a K component of zero and the tool axis does not pass through the centerline, the system will attempt to calculate a valid tool position.</p>
               <p class="para_td">If a machine has a spindle axes of other than (0,0,1) and with a machine that has no Y-axis, the tool may gouge if the tool axis does not pass through the center of rotation. If the tool is not a ball end mill and the tool axis does not go through the center of rotation, it will definitely gouge. &nbsp;If the tool is a ball end mill and the tool axis does not go through the center of rotation, it may gouge if the local contour is a wall or slot next to the tool. The system outputs a warning for all the above situations.</p>

               <p class="para_td">This type of mill turn is mated to a single lathe post. The system uses the operation type to switch between a mill postprocessor and a lathe postprocessor. This type of mill turn cannot be linked to any other posts. You don't need to add UDEs to the tool path to cause the postprocessor switching to occur between your lathe and mill posts. You can use the Linked Post section to define the Start of Head and End of Head event markers. </p>

               <p class="para_td">XZC Mill</p>

               <p class="para_td">This type of mill/turn is an independent post that can be linked to any other post.</p>

      </table><br><div class="title_division">Name of Lathe Post</div>
      <p class="para_division">If the Machine Mode is the Simple Mill/Turn, you need a lathe post to mate with the current mill post. By default the mating post is lathe_tool_tip in the MACH postprocessor directory. The mill post is the main post and must be the initial post specified in the template_post.dat file. </p>

               <p class="para_td">Use this option for machines that have an automatic conversion of XY into X and C. For this type of machine the post is output normal XYZ data and the macnine control will do the conversion. On Fanuc controls, this mode is turned on with G13.1.</p>

         </tr>

               <p class="para_td">Polar</p>
            </td>
            <td bgcolor="#f4f4f4" colspan="1" rowspan="1">
               <p class="para_td">Use this option for machines that do not have a built in conversion to X and C. The post outputs all motion as ZXC. The system Linearizes &nbsp;all straight moves into a series of small moves to stay within tolerance. On Fanuc controls, turn this mode on with G12.1.</p>
