      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The system uses synchronization events to re-align the events in the individual channels. When you add a synchronization marker to different positions in the channel lists, the system aligns these markers so that the subsequent actions begin at the same time.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The system assigns numbers consecutively to the synchronization events as you create them. You cannot modify these numbers.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">To insert a synchronization event:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the cell in the channel event list that you want to align with other channels. The system highlights the row for all channels.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Insert Sync Event icon  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/icon_insert_synch_evnt.gif" border="0">, or select Insert Sync Event from the right mouse button menu. The Synchronization Mark dialog opens showing the synchronization mark number that you are currently creating. You can specify the following:

                     <p class="para_td">The primary channel controls the actual spindle speed of that spindle where it is currently working. Only the primary can set a surface speed or a constant spindle speed. If a surface speed is set, the actual spindle speed depends on the diameter position of the tool tip controlled by the primary.</p>
                     <p class="para_td">If you synchronize turrets that work alone on a spindle, you can select NONE.</p>

                     <p class="para_td">Affected Channels</p>

            <p class="para_item">Click OK. The system inserts the synchronization event in the same line of all affected channels, in front of the previously selected line.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Adjust the synchronization marker in the affected channels by:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Using drag &amp; drop to place it at the proper position in each of the channels. This is the recommended method.</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Select the synchronization mark in the affected channel and cut and paste it into the proper position using MB3.</p>
               </li>
            </ul>
            <p class="para_item">The events listed in each of the affected channels are automatically realigned.</p>
            <p class="para_item">To edit a synchronization event:</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Double-click on the synchronization event you want to change. The Synchronization Mark dialog opens.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Make your changes.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click OK.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_topic">To delete a synchronization event:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">With the right mouse button, select the synchronization event you want to delete in the synchronization manager.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Delete. The synchronization event disappears from the channel lists.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
