      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Arc moves allow you to specify both a <b class="uiTerm">Radius</b> and a <b class="uiTerm">Linear Extension</b>. The software resolves conflicts between these values by always maintaining the specified <b class="uiTerm">Radius</b> and adjusting to use the <b class="uiTerm">Linear Extension</b> distance as illustrated below.

      <p class="para_topic">In the first case, the system extends the distance to maintain the specified arc radius. In the second case, the system maintains both the specified distance and the arc radius, but connects them with a linear tool movement tangent to the arc.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Swing Angle</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Swing Angle</b> is measured in a plane tangent to the part surface at the first contact point. A positive angle swings the move away from the part wall. If there are multiple passes, a positive swing angle also swings the move away from the next cut. When a part is not available, a positive angle swings the move to the right. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Specifying a negative swing angle reverses the behavior to mirror the move about the tangent plane.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Ramp Angle</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">Ramp Angle</b> determines how high the <b class="uiTerm">Swing Angle</b> vector is elevated above the plane tangent to the part surface. A positive angle ramps the move up towards the tool axis. A negative angle ramps the moves down away from the tool axis.

      <p class="para_division">When a part is available, <b class="uiTerm">Swing Angle</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Ramp Angle</b> are gouge checked.
