            <p class="para_item">The tool goes directly from the end of the <b class="uiTerm">Retract</b> move to the <b class="uiTerm">Return</b> point.

         </li>

      <p class="para_topic"> If clearance geometry is defined, then:</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If the <b class="uiTerm">Start</b> point is above the clearance geometry, the tool goes to the <b class="uiTerm">Start</b> point, then to the clearance geometry.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The move type assigned is <b class="uiTerm">Rapid</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If the <b class="uiTerm">Start</b> point is below the clearance geometry, the tool goes to the clearance geometry, then to the <b class="uiTerm">Start</b> point.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The move type assigned is <b class="uiTerm">Approach</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If the <b class="uiTerm">Return</b> point is above the clearance geometry, the tool goes to the clearance geometry or to the beginning of the retract move, then to the <b class="uiTerm">Return</b> point.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The move type assigned is <b class="uiTerm">Rapid</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If the <b class="uiTerm">Return</b> point is below the clearance geometry, the tool goes to the <b class="uiTerm">Return</b> point, then to the clearance geometry or to the beginning of the retract move.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The move type assigned is <b class="uiTerm">Departure</b>.
            </p>

      <div class="title_division">Feed rates</div>
      <p class="para_division">To specify feed rates for non cutting moves, click <b class="uiTerm">Feeds and Speeds</b> on the operation's dialog box.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">For example: Specify a <b class="uiTerm">Traversal</b> feed rate to hasten tool movement during horizontal transit. This feed rate is used when the tool clears islands and part walls by a distance equal to or greater than the specified clearance. When the tool is closer, the <b class="uiTerm">Engage</b> feed rate or <b class="uiTerm">Retract</b> feed rate is used.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The general rules for feed rates are:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Rapid</b> feed rate applies to everything at or above the clearance geometry.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Traversal</b> feed rate applies to everything below the clearance geometry.
            </p>
         </li>
