      <p class="para_topic">The Blank and Part boundaries are open profiles that together completely enclose the cross-section of material to be removed. The Blank boundary defines the raw stock through which the tool can cut. The part boundary defines the part surface and separates the raw stock from the finished part. The tool will not violate the part boundary.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">If the blank and part boundaries do not intersect, the Lathe processor will attempt to extend the boundaries so that they form a closed profile as illustrated below. Extended boundaries that do not form a closed profile may adversely affect the tool path generation.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">The following options under Boundary Geometry allow you to create, modify, and view Part and Blank boundaries.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Edit</div>
      <p class="para_division">Edit - displays the Edit Boundary dialog allowing you to edit the existing boundary, the boundary members, and the parameters associated with each.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Select/Reselect</div>
      <p class="para_division">Select/Reselect - displays the Boundary Geometry dialog allowing you to specify or respecify the boundary.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Display</div>
      <p class="para_division">Display highlights the boundaries selected as the Machining Geometry.</p>
